A doctor's widow hires a private investigator to look into why her husband and two other partners who formed a partnership and built a medical plaza would be killed. The reasons harken back about twenty years before the story begins and involves money, politics and corruption.

While Fatal Gamble is a nice, easy read - and a nice way to spend a few hours - it was, for this reader at least, a little too predictable.

I, for one, would have liked to see more of the following:
a. Character development.
b. Meatier storyline.
c. Dialogue between the various characters.

I did like what there was of the story and it had potential, I just wish that there was more of it.

For the reader who wishes to have a few hours of relaxation, this is the perfect read.
